1. The 14 year old

And from looking at google analytics over the past year, there are some things I am gonna be changing and improving for next!  Funny the number one post on my blog is about my beautiful son…Think I can talk about him every day with out him disowning me forever?

Also, 2 of the top five are weekly participation meme’s.  For web traffic, if that is your motivation, it appears those are a good thing…

Until next year!

Holy Cow Patty

my  personal blog is taking a back seat to summer and work committments.

I am hopeful that the start of high school soccer practice will give me some time to catch up with my own life (while the 14 yr old is sweating his 2% body fat off in the heat).

Good news, I should have some pictures of the family room progress soon.

Yes, this is the longest room remodel in the history of the world.

My New Favorite Magazine

oh, that may be a bit of a fib, because I am a full fledged magazine addict, however, this one IS one of my newest favorites; and when several of my other all time favorites are dropping like flies, I need some magazine love!

have you seen it?

Mary Jane’s Farm

Every page is seriously drool worthy, even the ads.
Seriously.

Organic, Certified, Home-grown, Handmade….
It goes on and on.

For those of us who wanted to live in Walnut Grove growing up and be Laura or Mary’s best friend-you will LOVE this bi-monthly bundle of country love.

Now, excuse me while I check out the city-farm girl blog

Fall UN-Funk

There is something about the change of seasons, more from summer to fall and from winter to spring that really get me movin’.

I have all this creative energy that is bubbling up and trying to get out every possible place.  The problem is that right now, I don’t have time to endulge in my creative urges.

There is stuff going on at my “day” job.
It is soccer season.
I have a 13 yr old.

And those are probably not even in the correct order.  I can keep the little creative demon happy most days by posting something here…but as you will notice earlier this week…I kept posting and kept posting.

Thoughts and Ideas were appearing faster than I could type (considering that I can type around 66 wpm-do the math)

Shaun Groves has an entry on his blog today about Creative types-and I am seriously considering emailing it to EVERYONE I know.  Good stuff to go read if you are a creative type or have to live with one of us.

I have just added the ability for people who post comments to get email notifications for updates!

I am so happy that I now have this option!

I am tempted to sign up even though I get notified already.
