And the Walls….
came tumblin’ down.

My spouselet has been busy, busy, busy.
Yesterday he finished the demolition of the former pantry. We now have room to put actual furniture with in a reasonable proximity to the fireplace. How “family room” is that?
Soon we will have a place for people to sit WHILE they watch TV.
For the past several months, unless you were a teenager (because the basement is always full of them) you had to pile up in the guest room bed. Fine for spouselet and I-or 13 yr old and I and 2 dogs, but not so much for extended family and friends!

Looking forward to see how this progresses! (I hope it’s faster than projects around this place…)

Jamey- he has been working really hard. Usually I am right there with him, but with this cold…I got out of it-to much dust!
Elizabeth-erm…this could take YEARS. We are going to get the wall paper off 2 more areas and then patch….and get a cheap area rug and move the TV in….the rest of the demolition will be at least the middle of next year. So, probably NOT faster!
