On Turning 40 #2

As previously mentioned, I turn 40 later this month. I realized today that this is a huge milestone for myself and one of my favorite addictions.

Magazines.

I am certianly leaving one demographic and starting another. Some titles are no longer relevant to me (and honestly, havent been for years). Glamour and Cosmo. heh. I honestly stopped reading those puppies when I was in my 20’s…before I was out of college…Woman’s Day, Ladies Home Journal and Family Circle are still “good” I suppose, but something about their recycled articles (read one, you have read them all).

Several of my magazines are not ages specific but interest specific…
Living, Everyday Food, Country Living, Mother Earth News, Journey, Somerset Studio (most of their publications)

I feel like sining that old One thing is not like the other from Sesame Street and see if you can pick out the new one-the one I am now “eligible” for.

I am actually excited-a new magazine that before this month (since it is my birth month) I have felt forbidden, to young to even glance at the pages in line at the grocery. But now- I am ONE of them.
(or will be in 12 days)
